I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in the summer of 1995. I trust Him for everything. My favorite verse is Romans 5:8, "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
My husband wholeheartedly supports my quilting. We have been married for 22 years. When he was little, he would help his Grandma by sitting under the quilting frame and pushing the needles back up through the quilt that they were hand tying. He recalls that many a pin or needle were left in those old quilts!
We have seven kids together. Ages 11 to 21. They have each made at least one quilt from piecing, to quilting to binding! My youngest son made his first quilt at the age of 4!
I own two APQS longarm quilting machines. Frogger was purchased in 2008 and Toad in 2011. Toad is a shorter throat machine, and easier for my kids to use. The advantage in two complete systems is that I usually have one machine available to load a quilt.
I have been quilting/piecing for nearly 17 years. I love it! I bought my first longarm over 10 years ago, and have never looked back! I use the same quality control in my quilting that we do in our testing. The proper combination of thread and batting can make all the difference in your finished quilt.
